Taking time to honour and recognize gratitude is always a favourite practice of mine.
Whether it's jotting down a few things I'm thankful for each day or simply pausing for a moment to appreciate the beauty around me, these acts of mindfulness bring a sense of peace and fulfillment. Gratitude has a remarkable way of shifting our focus from what we lack to the abundance we already possess. It opens our hearts to joy and connects us more deeply with others. By acknowledging the small and significant blessings in our lives, we cultivate a mindset of positivity and resilience. It's a gentle reminder that even in challenging times, there is always something to be grateful for.
Blessing Box is a class I designed so that I could take the sentiment of the season and have it translated into a meaningful collection of art through various simple, easy and fun card make designs. Using a basic wooden box purchased from a dollar store or craft store, get ready to transform it into a beautiful and timeless project holding a variety of cards you can make in minutes. This class is designed to be doable and achievable, with cards you can make in less than an hour. The holidays and this time are busy enough, it was important to me to create a project that did not add to the list, but made tackling the list more attainable.
Each card in the Blessing Box is crafted to evoke warmth, gratitude, and joy, capturing the essence of season. The collection features an array of styles, showcasing basic and simple ideas that can be replicated and modified again and again. Create a batch for yourself, for your family, friends and guests. Compile them all into a keepsake box you will love to look back on and display.
By creating the Blessing Box, I hoped to inspire others to take a moment to express their feelings and share their appreciation with those around them. My hope is that you will end up with a treasured keepsake that can be cherished for years to come.
I am so thankful for the creative community and honoured to share another creative class with all of you.
Welcome to Blessing Box.
I am so grateful you are here.
