Christmas paper is something I love to display, and finding creative ways to do that helps me enjoy it and use it instead of hoard it like I want to. I was inspired to create a holiday box to store a collection of 3x4 Christmas cards I am working on (class content coming soon) so I thought I would share the beginning stages with you and hopefully leave you inspired to make your own.

Looking for a fun and easy way to use up some of your holiday paper?

I think you are going to love this process video and the process!

All you will need is a sheet of Christmas paper. I am using the postcard paper from the Heidi Swapp Tis The Season Collection.

Next up will be to find yourself a wooden box. I purchased mine for a few dollars at my local dollar store and any craft or hobby store should have some available. I chose a long box, but any size box will do!

Then you will want to get some Mod Podge and a foam brush to get started. Scissors and/or trimmer will also be needed and helpful!

Click to watch the process video tutorial below to see just how easy it can be to take a piece of pattern paper, some adhesive and a little TLC to create a gorgeous holiday storage box to enjoy all season long! This is a little reminder that holiday crafting and custom decor does not have to be crazy complicated or expensive.

I hope you enjoyed this festive tutorial.

Stay tuned for more info on the upcoming card class as well.

Full of simple and fun techniques to get you inspired, making and using your stash.
