FEBRUARY UPDATE + STAMP JOURNAL

Come along, welcome in February and boost your mood along the way with some stamp journal play!

Well hello there February. I am kind of in shock and awe that it is the first of the month. I always feel like the first of this month should be this big momentous occasion... a reset.

But..... let's be real. I know for me personally it is always just another day to feel less caught up, more overwhelmed at the speed of time and sigh.... just trying to process it all.

January certainly was a tricky month. I feel like I spent most of the weeks in recovery mode, and it did not exactly bode well for me. I finally feel like I can see the light coming back in, and feel it so I will take that as a huge personal win.

Keeping creative.... (even if it has been just for 5 or 10 minutes a day) was something I relied on heavily to kind of keep me feeling afloat and not so defeated in my feelings. It really did help and I am so thankful to have this space and outlet.

If you find yourself feeling kinda down, and the blues of the winter season working their way through you... get out your stamps. I highly recommend it :).

There is a brand new video in the Create + Explore classroom this week, taking you through a bit of my stamping process in my stamp journal. I wanted to play with some February Update (along with a few current extras) to welcome in the month and keep working on boosting my mood. I loved playing with the reds and blacks and digging in my stamp stash to also add in a few older sets.

I am loving having a dedicated "no pressure" space to just be free, let go and learn with various stamp builds and familiarizing myself with each set's possibilities. Plus flipping through the pages of this journal also brings such a great level of satisfaction. Translating from physical set to marks on the page is always awesome.

See you in the classroom!
